The Importance of Celebrity Meaningful Shoots

So everyone loves famous people, am I right or am I right. Everyone loves to watch them on the big screen, in their living rooms and on talk shows, you know when you think they're being their selves, what we think is the true them. But then why is it so important that art and photographers are able to show us sides of people we have never seen before. Not only do we get let more into the live of the people that we love but also we do it in a way that makes us 'kinda' understand a little more to what they might get up to or least see them with out a whole beauty tea behind them.

Toronto Film Festival - Shutter Shock - Andrew H Walker:

It's okay you're not seeing double and there isn't anything wrong with your eyes, there are two of your favourite people all in the room yes. But it's for a better reason than some people dreams coming true.  Shutter Shock photography wanted to show the world the people we all know and love in two very different photos, without them telling us one side is their private self and the other is the Hollywood side. But which is which and what does that mean to each one of these people. They let us know they're human, but are they, because it isn't as clear as left is private and right is Hollywood, both sides change and no one is the same, so take from it what you want, let it influence you into thinking a little more about these people you think you know so well.

Pirelli Calendar 2017:

Okay so these might not be 2 of some of your favourite people but they sure as hell show us them in a different light. It was true yes they are in black and white, but is the only edit they do. These are these women as they want to be seen, as themselves and that is it. No make up and nothing to hide behind.

Having celebrities prove to us that they are in deed human and capable of being 'normal' lets people see them for what they are and not thinking they are some unreachable goal.
