Political Art | TRUMP V'S OBAMA and a Litter Bit Of Clinton

Sometimes there needs to be a little leeway in hard times like this, and in what better what to do so then to turn to art. It is no new news that this whole political power show of loosing the total babe Obama and getting the battle of Trump and Clinton has produced so 'interesting' items throughout the last couple of months. But lets look at the art it has also be able to allow. From pro Trump to Pro Clinton and the general overall love of Obama there is a lot to look deeply into.

PRO TRUMP:
I know, I know those words even hurt for me to say but sadly and clearly there are people out there who do support him and do wish to spread their message across to everyone, sometimes through questionable yet impactful art shows. One of the biggest which made it into the spot light, mainly for the fact that every gallery was refusing to host it was #daddywillsaveus. Better know as Twinks for Trump created by Lucian Wintrich this show displays images from dehumanising Hilary and making memorials for people killed by 'illegal aliens and terror attacks through the world and America as a country. When the New York gallery pulled out just 2 days before it was meant to be shown, the creators were forced to find somewhere else that was willing to show this kind of art. NYC being a strong hold for the democratic vote this was clearly going to be hard.

A bath of pigs blood to represent all the innocent people who have died from the stupid acts and laziness of the US government.

The exhibition was taken so badly by so many New Yorkers that the gallery owner herself issued a public apology to anyone who would have been offended by it. “I had no intention of facilitating a platform for hate,” O’Reilly said in a statement. The divisive exhibition at O’Reilly’s WallPlay gallery was one of several controversial pieces of political art that have popped up around the country as the 2016 presidential election draws to a close. PRO CLINTON:

Art doesn't always have to be shows and exhibition, sometimes it can be simple and just spread a message, Carrie Mae Weems: The Power of Your Vote did just that. Her video of Obama's 2008 speech over simple images of New York's diverse landscape and people was enough to bring to the attention of Clinton's campaign team and Clinton herself.

“Democracy is hanging in the balance, and there is only one choice—Hillary Clinton,”

Molly Smith, I Feel Like Hillz
Some art work that I saw myself when in NYC, more specifically Williamsburg, was the 'I feel like Hillz' campaign, what could be seen as graffiti or run down posters were placed all over new York city in public and quiet places to spread the word about the only right choice to make during this election.  It spread from just posters around the city to a full line of merchandise. Every young person who had the smallest interest in politics and like the ideas proposed forward by Clinton was wearing or owning something with in this campaign.

“The reason women are afraid to be like Hillary is fear of what other people are going to say about us,” Smith told Fusion. “But—you’re going to say I’m a bitch? Okay, so what. I am. Hillary’s been called everything under the sun, and she’s going to be our president.”

HATE TRUMP:

One of the most well know groups of individuals to have an impact on politics is PUSSYRIOT, coming over from Russia and making moves away from Putin to trump their latest video shows what might happen to anyone who is seen as an immigrant under the power of trump.
